Father Boniface Hicks is the Director of St. Vincent College and Seminary’s Spiritual Formation Program and Academic Director of the Institute for Ministry Formation. He is a sought-after retreat master and prolific writer. In particular, he is co-author of two books on spiritual direction with Father Thomas Acklin, O.S.B., Spiritual Direction: A Guide for Sharing the Father’s Love, and Personal Prayer: A Guide for Receiving the Father’s Love.
Fr. Gabriel O’Donnell grew up in Syracuse, New York. After entering the Order of Preachers in 1963 and being ordained a priest in 1970, he earned degrees from the University of Notre Dame and Pontifical Faculty for Spirituality, the Teresianum, in Rome. Fr. O’Donnell currently teaches at Mount Saint Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg. In addition, he has served as postulator of various causes for sainthood. With Robin Mass, Ph.D., Fr. O’Donnell is the author of Spiritual Traditions for the Contemporary Church.
